Today I turned 33 1/3.

To celebrate I'm posting the trailer for West End: History in the Making. I couldn't find a release date... anyone know if there's gonna be a screening anytime soon?



I don't have too many conrete life-goals, but I will own the entire West End Catalog on vinyl before I die.

six PFLAGS

Went to Gay Night at Six Flags Great Adventure last night. SOOO much fun! Hadn't been to a big theme park in years. My craving for roller coaster action has been satiated for the time being. I've been obsessed since riding the Cyclone with J.P. on Labor Day.

Highlight: NITRO ... sooooo fucking sweet! I believe we all found Jesus on that ride!

I was searching for a video for First Love this morning and came across this. I'm not sure how I feel about it, although, I guess it's better than seeing Uffie skanking it up with all the Ed Banger boys. As Gay-Face says... you just know that Uffie's the rich American girl with the good blow who you call to come down to the studio to give all the guys head during a late-night recording session.

Regardless... great friggin' song.

Food: J.P.'s chipotle deviled eggs and white trash truffles, Chris Fay's watermelon rum balls, Peter's guacamole, a beautiful cake from Tompkins Square Bakery, Andrew J.'s margarita cookies and cranberry white chocolate pistachio cookies, Colleen's cous cous and chickpea salad, Vinny's meat, my grilled shrimp and baked beans. Yumm!

tennis anyone?

I got a last minute hook-up for US Open tickets last Friday. What an amazing friggin' day! We had courtside seats that were eight rows back. The highlight of the day was seeing Serena Williams play. She's a friggin' tennis-monster. Loved it!

unisphere fountain

The fountain under the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park is only turned on once a year for the US Open. It's pretty damn cool... to me at least.
