I will own this painting someday. Just came across it again earlier today. It's of Habitat67 in Montreal. It's one of the main obsessions in my life and definitely my favorite building... ever.

I loved this building when I was a teenager. It seemed the wave of the future.
I just tested myself to see if I could remember the architect, and surprisingly enough, I did. Moshe Safdie!
Too bad Mr. Safdie wasn't able to build Habitat II here in the city.. there were two proposed sites.. one North of the UN and the other on the East Rivere at the end of Wall Street.
Looks interesting. Sort of stacked modular homes. Like after a hurricane. Modular homes are what we used to call "trailers". I like parasite housing too, but I'm sure we'll never see that in NYC.
