unisphere fountain
The fountain under the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park is only turned on once a year for the US Open. It's pretty damn cool... to me at least.

I love that fountain - The B52's did a night photo shoot in the late 70's early 80's in space suits around it - v.new wave come -B grade Sci-fi flick.
